I'm the creator, owner and lead Photographer at Brown Stones Photography. I launched Brown Stones in 2011, but I've had a camera in my hand way longer than that.
Photography has always been important to me, I think it's a combination of my love for history as well as family and close connections to the heart. Photography is a way to freeze time, record an emotion and let you relive that moment. Heart connections and communicating joy and love through photography will never get old for me.

My shooting style is a combination of direction and let it flow. In my experience the best way to let my clients get those shots they want, is to make them feel so comfortable, they don't really know I'm there. Prompts rather than poses and allowing them to ease into the process. Not everyone gets their photos taken every day and it can feel a little unnerving.
My editing style is what I would call true to color then go follow the vibe. I absolutely will take direction and suggestions from clients. My goal is for you to love your photos 20 years from now, and not look at the style as trendy. I try to connect with the clients and read between the lines of what they are telling me they want. Visual examples are always great and I can gain a lot of perspective from what you show me you like.
